The restaurant "Les Nymphéas"
The restaurant « Les Nymphéas » is situated opposite of Claude Monet’s house and gardens, on the other side of the street. Joël Poupat, has been the manager since the first of April 2008. The residents of the village and tourists from all over the world appreciate ice-creams sold on the square by his wife Mauricette.
In order to extend the atmosphere of the visit, the restaurant, settled down in an old farm from Monet’s times, proposes a traditional Norman cooking, some salads, a whole choice of "à la carte’’ cold and hot dishes and a menu for the day.
On every hour of the day, an halt at the tearoom, either at the flowered terrace or at the patio, will be a very pleasant time. For those in a hurry, sandwiches and drinks are also available.
