Around Giverny

 
After the visit of the foundation Claude Monet, the small village of Giverny deserves some time to be spent. The museum of  Impressionism, which will be open as early as the 1st of may is a place not to forget to complete the visit, but the walkers can also visit the Roman Church of Ste Radegonde and go to collect themselves on Claude Monet’s grave or, on the stele of the British Aviators which are situated in the small cemetery just beside. The wild rose garden of the old ‘’Hôtel Baudy’’ and the museum of natural mechanics are worth the detour for those who have time ahead of them.

The walking lovers can discover charms of the area by using the ‘’sentier du Lézard vert’’ and the ‘’Sentier de l’Astragale’’.
